- a private link to complete the hospital’s registration forms, during or after your visit. The link expires within 12 hours;
- a message that a member of your care team will call you about your visit;
- a reminder to arrange the follow-up your clinician asked for, or a request to call the hospital;
- a short message from hospital staff about your visit.

How you agree to texts
At registration, hospital staff ask whether you agree to receive texts about your visit at your mobile number, and record your answer. Agreeing is optional and does not affect your care. Before a forms link is texted to you, staff confirm the number with you and that you agree.
How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies, usually 1 to 4 texts per visit. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Stopping and getting help
Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from this number. You can also ask hospital staff to stop them. For help, reply HELP or call the hospital at (832) 777-6165. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy
Your mobile number is used in this program only to send these texts about your visit. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver the messages, under a written agreement.
